Whipped Up - A Show for Babies and Adults
An interactive show for the trickiest of audience members - Babies!
April 22nd, 2:00 pm
April 23rd, 9:30 am & 11:30 am
Newburyport Public Library Community Room
Reserve your seat here!
Whipped Up! follows an eager-to-please 50's-style diner server on their first day on the job - where the baby is the customer, and caregivers are along for the ride. As the server waits on their "demanding" clientele (imagine babies doing what babies do best - creating adorable chaos!) the server grows increasingly frazzled - and more and more entertaining! Stimulating for tiny audience members, and hilarious for parents/adults.
Whipped Up! was created to provide a welcoming space and moment of joy for babies and their dedicated grown-ups. For babies ages 0-2 years and their caregivers/buddies (ages 8+). We ask that ages 2-7 years old not attend.
Soap and Rope Theatre will be recording these shows for marketing and archival purposes. You will be asked to sign a waiver giving permission for your child to be recorded. If you would prefer not to have your child's image recorded, stay tuned and there will be more performances soon!
Space is limited, so you will need to reserve your seat. Theater in the Open believes that the arts must be available to all, and are proud to present this production free to the public. If you are able to support our mission by making a donation with your reservation you may do so when reserving your seat, and we thank you!
