A Peter Pan Panto at 1pm
All your favorite panto pals are back this spring for A Peter Pan Panto! Pirates, fairies, and Lost Boys abound in this whimsically goofy take on the J.M. Barrie classic!
The Tempest at 4pm
In Shakespeare’s The Tempest, Prospero, exiled Duke of Milan, uses his spirit servant, Ariel, to shipwreck his enemies and enact revenge on those that betrayed him. While employing magic to comically toy with the visitors and his imprisoned servant, Caliban, Prospero also employs his theatrical arts to arrange a marriage for his daughter Miranda and set the political world to rights. The story unfolds with laughter, sorrow, justice, and of course, wonder, affirming the power of storytelling and magic, as well as their limits.
Lost Songs at 7pm
A one night only revival of our two Greek tragedy productions: Antigone and Medea. We will present the poetry and movement of these two pieces to celebrate the start of Women’s History Month after a successful run at the Firehouse Center for the Arts in March.
