Hot Pepper Hamlet

  • Museum of Old Newbury 98 High Street Newburyport, MA, 01950 United States (map)

To celebrate Shakespeare's birthday, some of the most talented Shakespearean performers you've loved on Theater in the Open stages will perform Shakespeare's greatest monologues and scenes—with one twist; they're taking a bite out of a wicked hot pepper before they start.

Join us for the silliest (and potentially most painful) night of performances for this TITO fundraiser, hosted by the Museum of Old Newbury in downtown Newburyport. Beer will be pouring from our friends at Ipswich Ale, so come and enjoy these actors put themselves through the wringer for no other reason than "because they can!" You may even get to give a hot pepper performance yourself—if you're brave enough.
