Due to ongoing efforts to protect our actors and audiences from the spread of COVID-19, Theater in the Open will be postponing all live performances until we can gather safely once again. In the meantime, we have been busy innovating so that we can continue to create art and perform for audiences remotely. Take a look at the new work we’re launching.

MAUDSLAY IS HAUNTED
Launching in october, 2020

Maudslay is Haunted is Theater in the Open’s notorious annual haunting of Maudslay State Park and largest annual fundraiser. Sadly, we all recognize that this is not a year to host over a thousand visitors to the Park. Instead, we’ve re-engineered Maudslay is Haunted to be safe, innovative and consistent with current Commonwealth of MA guidelines. But that doesn’t mean we won’t have fun.

Once More Unto the Ballot Box
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 24 @ 7PM

Join us for this special event, a one night only, remote production of Shakespeare’s most famous political scenes to support voting rights organizations and build voter awareness. We are proudly supporting three voting rights organizations with this performance, and ask that you consider a donation to support GOTV efforts in Massachusetts and across the country.
